Facilities: Pool

The pool is 25M, Six Lane. The pool was recently refurbished and converted to 25M from 33M. There are anti-wave lane lines. There is a shallow warm-up/swim-down pool at one end (behind standing competitors in photo).

There is a boom separating another warm-up area at the deep end where the diving boards are to be found. (photo taken before boom installed).

Facilities: Car Parking

The car park is just about adequate. Recent developments have built over much of the old car park (see photo). There are also local pay-and-display car parks, shared with shoppers and others.

Facilities: Catering

The cafeteria is partitioned off by windows and gives a good view overlooking the pool. It is slightly cooler than poolside (see top of first photo).

Facilities: Seating

The seating extends along the entire north side (see photo below) and is not accessible to swimmers (unless they go out to the foyer and up the carpetted stairs.

There is a small garden on the south side where one can sit, cool down and look thorough the large vertical windows and keep an eye on whats happening inside. (see photo from outside).
