These pages are intended for competition organisers and supplement the direct mailings you will have received.

Description of a Competition Homepage
A Competition Homepage is the first web page about your competition that readers will encounter. As such, it gives the basic competition information. It can make an impression on the reader and help to ensure their return on future visits to the website.

Description of the Service
The service provides a "standard" Homepage for all competitions with variation in minor details, colours, page background, etc. The standard homepage contains the following:

  • A Logo: Typically many competitions use a logo for rapid identification. This may be based on the organisers club logo or on a town, city, county, island (e.g. Guernsey) or country logo or flag. We try to include the logo and use colour where known.
  • Meet summary: Club, Venue, Events, Age groups, Date, Closing date for entries and organiser/contact name and address
  • Links to Meet Details as they become available: such as programme and entry form, notices, travel arrangements and maps, accommodation lists, results, records, contact details and photo preview. Also there may be links to Video Clips, Live Webcam Video and Pool Panoramas.

    Publicity
    As well as linking to your competition from your competition lists (one list for masters, one list for age group competitions) new competitions are notified, and linked to, on the "Whats New" page.

    The Costs
    There are no additional costs.
